RR Crossing On Detroit Will Close For A Week
News Release
WARSAW — A railroad crossing intersecting with Detroit Street in Warsaw will be closed for five days beginning Monday, July 17.
The crossing along SR 15 is halfway between Market Street and Winona Avenue.
The nearby intersections at Detroit and Market as well as Detroit and Winona Avenue will be open in all directions except in the direction of the railroad crossing, the city of Warsaw said in a statement.
The closure will allow CFE Railroad to replace and rehabilitate the railroad crossing.
State and local detours will be marked. Local motorists are encouraged to use Buffalo Street to circumvent the closure.
The city asks motorists to use caution while driving in the area and plan additional travel time.
