Catherine B. Warren Reichard Poole — UPDATED
Catherine B. Warren Reichard Poole, 94, Mentone, went to be with the Lord at 6:30 a.m., Monday, July 12, 2021, after a brief stay at Mason Healthcare of Warsaw.
Catherine was born on Feb. 26, 1927, in Tippecanoe, to the late Russell and Nora (Hall) Warren. She graduated from Tippecanoe High School as Salutatorian of her class in 1945. She married Milo Reichard on July 17, 1945. She and Milo had six children. The family spent many years on the farm together. She then married on March 6, 1982, to Morris E. Poole. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1998.
She enjoyed working at Dalton Foundry for many years in payroll. She loved golfing and played in four different leagues. She was especially proud of her 2 hole-in-ones. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, and traveling. She attended the Tippecanoe Community Church for many years.
She is survived by her children Russell and wife Donna Reichard of Bourbon; Darlene and husband Roy Anderson of Mentone; Carol and husband Dennis Feldman of Avon; David and wife Robin Reichard of Warsaw; Bernard and wife Betty Reichard of Tippecanoe; Roger and wife Gloria Reichard of Tippecanoe; stepson, Ted Poole; stepdaughter Debbie Wood. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters Esther Berger of Plymouth and Ilene Bessinger of Fort Wayne; and a brother Jesse Warren of Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and brothers Dale Warren, DeWayne Warren, and Welcome Warren.
The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 17, at Tippecanoe Community Church 2920 Main Street Tippecanoe, IN 46570 with Pastor George Shoemaker officiating.
The interment will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, next to her husband Morris.
The visitation hours will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, in the Tippecanoe Community Church, Tippecanoe
