Nancy L. McFarland, 85, Leiters Ford, passed away on July 4, 2021, at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester.
Nancy was born the daughter of Orville and Naomi W. (Wiser) Fishburn on July 3, 1936 in Hibbard. She is a lifetime resident of the area and previously attended the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Culver. She was a 1955 graduate of Culver High School and retired from her career as a hostess and receptionist at the Culver Inn. She enjoyed birds, wildlife and the river, but her favorite things were family get-togethers.
Nancy is survived by her children: Mickey McFarland of Culver; Jackie (Barry) Macmanaway of Culver; Lori Hinsey of Kewanna; Glennia L. (Robert) Cooper of Culver; Cindy (Matthew) Master of Culver; Mindy (Chad) Master of Argos; Phillip E. McFarland of Leiters Ford; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Morris Fishburn, and her grandchildren, Russell J. Salyer, and Mickey G. McFarland, Jr., and love of her life, former husband Francis Glen McFarland
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, at Culver Masonic Cemetery (Main St., Culver, IN 46511). Mallory Master will be officiating the graveside service.
