Margie Darlene Lane Sprague
Margie Darlene Lane Sprague, 95, Albany, was born Sunday, July 21, 1925. She passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, peacefully surrounded by loved ones in her granddaughter’s home.
Margie was a longtime employee of Zimmer in Warsaw. Devoting her life to Christ, Margie attended the Mentone Christ Fellowship before settling in Parker City and becoming a member of Parker City Christ Fellowship. As a faithful servant for Christ, Margie embodied to the best of her ability what it meant to be a Christian. Her love for all was without end, knowing no stranger and always advising each and every one to “go with Jesus.” Margie dearly loved all of her family. She enjoyed spending time with them and she always prayed for them.
Survivors include her son, Rory “Scott” (Marlene) Sprague; sister and best friend, JoAnne (Richard) Gilbert; 11 grandchildren: Stacey (Lisa) Mauk, Jason (Sheila) Mauk, Matt Mauk, Jesse (Rebecca) Sprague, Justin (Honesty) Sprague, Zachary Sprague, Jordan “Jodi” (Darrell) Sprague, Stephanie (Chance) Hicks, Rory Sprague, Ryan Sprague and Sarah (Stuart) Gates. She was blessed with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Jack and Jules (Blue) Lane; her husband, Louis Sprague; sons: Brad Sprague and Marc Sprague; daughter, Julane Baggett; brothers: “Bud” Lane, “Zip” Lane, Max Lane and Lanny Lane.
Services will be held at 5:15 p.m. Friday, July 2, at the Parker City Christ Fellowship, 12201 W. CR 150N, Parker City. Family and friends may call from 3 until 5 p.m. Friday, July 2 at church.
