Chapman Lake Hosting Holiday Activities Weekend

WARSAW – Residents of Chapman Lake have several events this week for the Fourth of July holiday.
On Friday, July 2, the Chapman Lake Conservation Association will host its annual Independence Day Parade. The theme for 2021 is “Salute to the American Farmer.” Entrants are encouraged to decorate their golf carts, UTV’s, ATVs, or trailers with the emphasis of honoring farmers. Classic cars and tractors are welcome. The lineup will begin at 7 p.m. at the Chapman Lake Clubhouse with the parade beginning an hour later. The route will begin at the clubhouse and travel Chapman Lake Drive from CR 300N to 450N. Prizes will be awarded for the top three finishers and gift certificates will be given to the next three participants.
At 7:30 a.m,. Saturday, there will be a pancake breakfast at the Chapman Lake Conservation Clubhouse that will continue until 10:30 a.m. Tickets include all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, and sausage. If you would like to volunteer please check out the volunteer registration page.
Fireworks are scheduled for 10 p.m. Saturday. The rain date is Sunday night.
