WARSAW — Kosciusko, along with numerous other northern Indiana counties, are under a tornado watch until 8 p.m. EST Saturday, June 26, according to the National Weather Service.
Indiana counties included are Benton, Elkhart, Fulton, Jasper, Kosciusko, Lake, La Porte, Marshall, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke and White.
A tornado watch is issued when conditions are favorable for tornado development. People located in and around the watch area should remain alert and tune to local broadcast media for further weather information. The watch is intended to give you time to prepare and time to review your safety rules.
