Kandi K. Schori
Kandi K. Schori, 62, Bourbon, passed away at 11:27 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
Kandi was born the daughter of Max J. and Eleanor (Hazen) Watkins on May 27, 1959. A lifelong resident of Bourbon, she worked as a bank teller for 42 years. She began work at Etna Bank and continued through all the transitions of ownership to PNC Bank from which she retired. She was a graduate of Triton High School in 1977 and a member of Bourbon First United Methodist Church. She married Roger Schori on April 7, 1979 and she loved spending time with her family, decorating for the holidays, and watching the Hallmark and QVC channels as well as her “soap operas.”
Kandi will be missed by her husband, and her sons: Ryan Schori and Dawn Scott of Bourbon; and Blake (Brittney) Schori of Warsaw; along with her brothers: Michael Watkins of Nappanee; Gerry (Pam) Watkins of West Chester, Ohio; Rod (Tammy) Watkins of Bourbon; and her Mother Eleanor Watkins of Bourbon.
She was preceded in death by her father, and infant daughter, Kristina Renae.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
Friends and family may gather from 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 28, in Bourbon First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, in Bourbon First United Methodist Church (204 N. Washington St. Bourbon, IN 46504) with Pastors Kenneth Cooke and Rob Seewald officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
