Free Activity Packet
Starting Monday, June 21, reading program participants can pick up this weeks’ Europe-themed activity packet. This week’s treat is a chocolate bar from England. John Cadbury, a Quaker who sold tea, coffee, and drinking chocolate, established the Cadbury chocolate business in Birmingham, England in 1824.
Pick up children’s preschool and K-5 packets at the children’s circulation desk. They contain several activities and a snack related to the week’s story time theme. Complete five activities and enter a drawing to win a prize. Teen packets are available in the adult department and have a snack in addition to a project. Once completed, they may enter a drawing for a gift card.
There are so many ways to win and earn prizes this summer. Enter a contest, complete packet activities, read, read, and read some more! Congratulations to the library’s latest winners.
