Civil War Reenactment In Nappanee This Weekend

NAPPANEE — A first-time Civil War reenactment will be held at the Nappanee Power from the Past outdoor museum beginning Friday, June 11, and continuing through the weekend.
Working in conjunction with The Barns at Nappanee and the 21st Indiana Light Artillery, Power from the Past will present Days Of The Blue And The Gray.
This first-time event will take place at their site on the former Amish Acres historic farm, located on the north side of Route US 6 on the west side of Nappanee.
Plenty of parking will be available as well as an area for demonstrations with bleacher seating, a large battlefield area, daily cannon fire and a firework show on Saturday night.
Food tents will also be available.
Hours are noon – 5 p.m. Friday, June 11; 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 12 (followed by fireworks after dark); and 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, June 13.
