WARSAW – The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary will be holding a silent auction beginning June 16 with the Wagon Wheel Theatre’s production of “Guys & Dolls.”
The auction will continue from June 16 to June 26.
The group will be auctioning off an exquisite quilt that has a completion date of March 10, 1997. It is a Whig Rose Medallion quilt measuring 100 x 102 inches. This quilt fits a king or queen bed. It is in mint condition, has never been washed and is odor-free.
The quilt was designed by Shirley Shenk in 1997 and was pieced and hand quilted by Amish ladies around Goshen. It was donated by Cindy Coppes and it belonged to her mother. All proceeds will go to The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary for local projects.
