KLA Board Announces ’40 for 40′ Campaign
News Release
WARSAW – Kosciusko Leadership Academy is celebrating 40 years.
KLA board members and a steering committee have been quietly raising money this spring to reach $40,000 for KLA’s 40th-anniversary campaign. During the “quiet phase,” the steering committee has collected gifts from alumni and friends of KLA totaling nearly $30,000. Now, the campaign enters the “public phase” to meet the final goal. Will you invest in Kosciusko Leadership Academy and help us strengthen our community?
Kosciusko leadership academy has been serving the county for 40 years, developing future leaders and paving the way for community improvement ideas to become reality. KLA brings together creative innovators and county leaders. KLA classes and programs have changed the county and brought to life new ideas and inspirations. Some examples include the Winona Splash Pad, Beyer Farm Trail and the ice rink under construction in Winona Lake. Now is the time to give to KLA’s 40 for 40 campaign. Imagine the new ideas and inspirations that can come to fruition. Help us reach $40,000.
According to Dr. Allyn Decker, KLA Moderator, “Proceeds from the 40 for 40 campaign will help us rebuild operating funds after a challenging year, as well as fortify the Northenor Award endowment fund. Investing now in KLA allows us to develop the next generation of community leaders and even more community improvement projects.” Donations to the fund may be made online at www.kcfoundation.org/donors/donate-now (select the “Kosciusko Leadership Academy Fund”). Another way to donate is to send checks to Kosciusko County Community Foundation. 102 E. Market Street Warsaw, IN 46580.
The Kosciusko Leadership Academy is an independent 501-3(c) organization and conducts bi-weekly morning sessions around the county to expose leaders to a wide variety of local topics and experts. The annual whitepaper projects have yielded many benefits to the citizens of Kosciusko County. For more information, visit www.kocsciuskoleadership.org
