North Webster Library Hosting Magic Show June 16

NORTH WEBSTER — Experience some magical moments with C.R. Ryan and Sons as they perform their magic show at North Webster Community Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16.
Their show features lots of audience participation along with surprising twists and turns. Come out and see Indiana’s only professional father and son magician team at this summer discover program event.
Return to the library at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 17, for Thursday’s Local Tales presentation by wildlife rehabilitator Maria Waltz. She will be bringing her live bird friends to teach children and their families about wild birds. No registration is needed to attend.
The week wraps up with Friday Family Food and Fun classes on June 18 with a choice of four sessions at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. Children will learn about farm animals as they move through four stations of crafts, activities and snacks. Mark your calendars for June 26 when the traveling Smithsonian Water/Ways Exhibit opens to the public at North Webster Library. This museum quality exhibit explores water’s impact on lives, culture, landscape and communities, and will be on display through Aug. 7 during normal library hours. In addition, a local companion exhibit will showcase the local area’s unique water story. A series of public water-related programs for all ages are also planned throughout the summer.
