Her Facebook page, Canary Artwork states that McDairmant “captured other people’s emotions for over 20 years as a professional photographer and I loved it, but now I use paint to express my own feelings.”
She’s been named a winner several times in the Hoosier Women Artists competition and uses a specialized technique in which she moves wet paint with her breath.
