Among the many local artists whose work will be on display is that of Stephanie McDairmant.
Her Facebook page, Canary Artwork states that McDairmant “captured other people’s emotions for over 20 years as a professional photographer and I loved it, but now I use paint to express my own feelings.”
She’s been named a winner several times in the Hoosier Women Artists competition and uses a specialized technique in which she moves wet paint with her breath.
