Carol Ann Pfefferkorn
Carol Ann Pfefferkorn, 86, Leesburg, Indiana, passed away at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw.
She was born May 11, 1935, in Fort Wayne, to John E. and Lucille (Sanders) Rogers. She married Andrew A. Pfefferkorn at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Waterloo Oct. 16, 1954.
She was a graduate of Ashley High School in Ashley. She retired from Da-Lite Screen after many years of working as a purchasing agent for the company. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and for many years and was involved in teaching Catechism classes to children. She was a member of the Right to Life Organization. She suffered from dementia the last couple years of her life but continued to give us the most amazing memories. She was an amazing, loving mother/grandmother/great-grandmother to the end.
She will be forever remembered by her daughter, Debra (Steven) Blauser, Warsaw; five sons: Thomas (Melissa) Pfefferkorn, Ariz.; Steven Pfefferkorn (Lorrie Warner), Warsaw; Michael (Stephanie) Pfefferkorn, Warsaw; Robert (Theresa) Pfefferkorn, Las Vegas; and Patrick (Nicole) Pfefferkorn, Leesburg. Eleven grandchildren: Allison Livingston, Natalie Pfefferkorn, Daniel Hatch, Dawn Howett, Diane Fitzpatrick , Denise Hankins, Bryce Pfefferkorn, Tyler Pfefferkorn, Trey Pfefferkorn, Alexander Pfefferkorn, and Christopher Pfefferkorn. Twelve great-grandchildren: Alyssa Klotz, Caitlin Pfefferkorn, Hailey Morgan, Kyle Hatch, Dara Hatch, Lucas Howett, Amslie Howett, Tyler Fitzpatrick, Hanna Fitzpatrick, Simon Hankins, Andrew Hankins, and Lucy Hankins. She is also survived by her sister Martha (Michael) Nagel, Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Andrew Pfefferkorn, brother Thomas Rogers, granddaughter Lauren Pfefferkorn and nephew Matthew Nagel.
Carol never wanted to be the center of attention, so her services will be private for immediate family members only.
