Terry E. Johnson, 76, North Webster, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021, at his home.
He was born on June 29, 1944, in Frederick, Okla., to Buford Paul & Jesse Leona (Coleman) Johnson.
He graduated in 1962 from Frederick High School, attended Tupelo Bible College in Mississippi and was married on Jan. 14, 1977, in North Webster, to Sally J. Miller who survives.
He retired from the North Webster Community Center / North Webster Library and formerly worked at RR Donnelly and Dalton Foundry both in Warsaw. He grew up in Frederick, Okla., and formerly lived in Michigan and Goshen before moving to North Webster in 1979.
He was a member of the North Webster Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Johnson, North Webster; daughter, Wendy (Walter) Swieczkowski, Florida; three sons: Curtis (Toni) Johnson, South Carolina, Russell Johnson, Indiana, and David Johnson, Indiana; grandchildren: Nichole (Jason) Phaneuff, Greg (Taelor) Swieczkowski, Alynda Phillips, Jeremiah Johnson and Caydence Johnson; great-grandchildren: Lexi, Kaleb, Anthony, Jaxon and Elaina; and sister, Betty Swann, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Linda Bumpous and Mary Sullivan and three brothers: Edward, Max and Bobby Johnson.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 & CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor J.J. Perry officiating. Burial will take place in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
