Tony Joe McGriff, 58, Plymouth, passed away at 12:15 p.m. May 27, 2021, at the Saint Joseph Health System, Mishawaka.
On Feb. 26, 1963, in South Bend, he was born to Raymond F. McGriff and Mary A. (Lowry) McGriff. He has lived all of his life in Marshall County.
On Nov. 17, 1984, in Plymouth, he married Lillian VanDusen. With each other they shared the past 36 years.
He was a truck driver for Liberty Tire, North Liberty.
He attended Argos High School and was a member of the Moose Lodge and past member of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife: Lillian McGriff, Plymouth; daughters: Ramie (Eric) Kreischer, Donaldson; Shelby (Tyler) Barker, Plymouth; and Nicole (Austin) Clady, Walkerton; a son: Anthony (Katelyn) McGriff, Plymouth; nine grandchildren: Trenton, Makenna, Kaycton, Adelynn, Emmalyn, Bradley, Lakelynn, Presley, and Porter; a sister: Angela (Jay) Smith, Argos; and a brother: Rick (Cindy) McGriff, Argos.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Michael L. McGriff.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, with burial following at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
