WARSAW — On Monday night, May 24, the achievements of four young men were celebrated.
Sam Lechlitner, Nate Lechlitner, Gabe Bowers and Carson Kerlin all achieved the rank of Eagle Scout – the highest rank attainable in Scouting.
“These four young men have worked hard through their scouting careers and especially during the pandemic to stick with and accomplish this goal,” said Troop 730 Scoutmaster Joel Bowers.
He expressed appreciation to Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer and Warsaw City Councilman Jack Wilhite for their attendance at the Eagle Scout recognition.
Scout Troop 730 is the oldest active troop in Kosciusko County (86 years).
Chartered by the First United Methodist Church in Warsaw, the troop meets 7 p.m. on Monday nights at the Connection Campus, 1692 W. Lake St., Warsaw.
