Edna Marie Hochstetler
Edna Marie Hochstetler, 88, Nappanee, died at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, May 20, 2021. at her residence.
She was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Nappanee to John E.S. and Emma M. (Schlabach) Mullet.
On Oct. 22, 1953, she married Glen M. Hochstetler. He preceded her in death Jan. 4, 2002.
Mrs. Hochstetler was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are her sons: Mervin Ray Hochstetler, Peoria, Ariz., Dale Eugene (Sue) Hochstetler, Bourbon, Carl (Carol) Hochstetler, Constantine, Mich.; daughters: Barbara Ann (Freeman) Mullett, Sarasota, Fla., Loretta G. (Robert ) Miller, Etna Green, Sue Ellen (Kevin) Yoder, Mary Lou (Merlin) Mullet, both of Nappanee; 32 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Velma Mullet, Wakarusa; brother, Delmar Mullet, Nappanee; brother-in-law, Omar Hochstetler, Dayton, Va.; and sisters-in-law, Florance Garber, Goshen, Alta Miller, Shipshewana, Judy Hochstetler, Hillsboro, Wisc., Edna Hochstetler, Nappanee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son and daughter-in-law, Lavern and Ida Hochstetler; and brother, Melvin Mullet.
Family and friends may call after 3 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2022, and all day Saturday, May 22, at the family residence (9595 W 1200 N). Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, May 23, also at their residence. Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
