Jacque Ellen Sobasky
Jacque Ellen Sobasky, 71, LaOtto, passed away on May 19, 2021, at Ascension Living LaVerna Terrace in Avilla.
Born in Noble County, Feb. 3, 1950, to the late Gerald and Kathleen (Seng) Boyer. She spent her formative years in Noble County, graduating from Prairie Heights High School.
Jacque was married to William Sobasky at St. Mary of the Angels, in Stroh, Sept. 4, 1971. He preceded her in death Nov. 21, 2014.
She retired in 2013 from Group Dekko after 42 years, where she worked in accounting.
Jacque enjoyed spending time with her family and attending as many of her grandchildren’s events as possible. She also enjoyed swimming at the Jam Center in Garrett and crocheting.
Jacque is survived by her children, Andrew (Jeanette) Sobasky, Rusty (Nancy) Sobasky and Kellie (Ed) Huelsenbeck; two brothers, Gary Boyer and Phillip (Diana) Boyer; two sisters, Cherry (David) Peterson and Sue Boyer; six grandchildren, Taylor, Alyssa, Cole and McKenna Sobasky, Bayleigh and Jack Huelsenbeck.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, with calling taking place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, from 10-10:30 a.m.
The family will also receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, with Holy Rosary following calling.
Burial taking place at Ege Catholic Cemetery, Ege.
