NorthWood was nearly flawless in putting away the Bruins in the semi-finals of the NorthWood Sectional.
Ashlyn Feller and Gabriella Umbower both shut out their opponents, Alina Bergstresser and Jackie Barber, and Britton Jesse gave up just a game to Risa Bohn.
Paige Henschen and Kate Stillson also won via shutout against Allyson Barkman and Joryn Yoder, and Emery Porter and Amy Adams won 6-2, 6-1 against Naomi Klassen and Trami Nguyen.
Fairfield moved on, knocking out Goshen 4-1 to advance to the championship against the Panthers.
Warsaw 5, Whitko 0
The Tigers put away the pesky Wildcats in the opening round of the Warsaw Sectional played at Columbia City.
Paige Zawadzki led off with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Kylie Fugett at No. 1, but two and three needed to work extra in the second sets as Regan Brouwer and Megan Mishler only gave up a single game in the first sets, but both had to hold off Abbi Frank and Anna Arter 7-5 each in the second set closeouts.
Peri Britton and Marie Frazzetta were tested by Jaycie Thomas and Danielle Schuman, but claimed a 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 win at one doubles, and the team of Anna Brehany and Kennedy Wiedeman fended off Abby Arter and Morgan Dyck 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Warsaw will take on Wawasee on Thursday and Valley and Columbia City will jump in as well in the two semi-finals.
