Desiree Moore

MERRILLVILLE — A statewide silver alert has been issued for a Merrillville woman.

The Merrillville Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Desiree Moore, described as a 29-year-old black female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt with two red numbers on the front, black leggings and burgundy gym shoes.

She is missing from Merrillville and was last seen at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 12.

She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
