Miriam R. Dorrington, 85, Warsaw, formerly of Evergreen Park, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, in Syracuse. She was born Nov. 22, 1935, to Martin and Vera (Johnson) Lundien.
She graduated from Calumet High School in Chicago, Ill. and lived most of her life in the Chicago area. She was formerly employed as a medical secretary in Chicago for seven years and as an administrative assistant for the Museum of Science and Industry. She moved from Evergreen Park to the Warsaw area in 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Bert G. LaBash of Warsaw; two sons: William (Mary) Dorrington of Princeville, Ill.; and Gerald Dorrington of Oregon; daughter, Renae (Jim) Lambrecht of Evergreen Park; nine grandchildren: Brett, Brittany (Brad), Bethany (Patrick), Patrick (Stephanie), Sean (Tiffany), Scott, Ryan (Katie), Eddie (Christie), and Brianna (Kenji); 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Lundien
She will be placed at rest at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, Ill. Preferred memorials may be given to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 1048 S 325E, Pierceton, IN 46562.
