Arthur ‘AJ’ Peterson — UPDATED
Arthur “AJ” Peterson, 42, Etna Green, died Monday, April 12, 2021, in his home. He was born March 27, 1979, in Albany, to Fred Auterson and Pamela Kolawole and was adopted on March 23, 1991, by Curtis and Janet Peterson.
AJ grew up in Frankfort. He attended Frankfort schools and later earned his GED. He was a truck driver for Tyson Foods and had worked for Warsaw Chemical. He attended Faith Family Ministries in Frankfort and enjoyed his kids, riding his Harley, playing guitar, and cooking. AJ had a heart of gold and would help anyone at any time.
He is survived by his father, Curtis Peterson, Rossville; biological parents: Fred Auterson and Pamela Kolawole; daughters: Josie Peterson, Killeen, Texas; Katelin Peterson, Killeen, Texas; Nevaeh Louk, Frankfort; Emily Louk, Frankfort; son, Arthur Bebee/Peterson, Frankfort; sisters: Shelley (Jordan) Mitchell of Frankfort, Hope (Vincent) Redinger, Etna Green; brother: Glen (Valerie) Auterson, Bourbon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Peterson; and niece, Miracle Chester.
A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 26, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Pastor Mark Mowery officiated.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at the Shrine building on the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
Memorial Donations may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
