Doris B. Weaver, 87, Goshen, died at 1:51 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at her daughter’s residence after a short illness.
She was born on Nov. 12, 1933, to Ezra and Lydia (Bauman) Martin in Nappanee and lived in the surrounding area her entire life. On Oct. 17, 1954, she married Lowell Merlin Weaver. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2017.
She was a member of the Wisler Mennonite Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Elaine (Harlan) Zimmerman, Nappanee; and Mary Jane Weaver, Goshen; two sons: Steven (Sheryl) Weaver, Goshen; and Glenn (Ruth Ann) Weaver, Wakarusa; son-in-law: Marvin (Nora) Ramer, Nappanee; 31 grandchildren; 117 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Lowell (Mary Alice) Martin, Nappanee; Robert (Elsie) Martin, Snover, Mich.; Carl Martin, Goshen; and Dean (Marciel) Martin, Nappanee; and two sisters: Mable Martin, Goshen; and Nila Martin, Nappanee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter: Charlene Ramer; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers: Leonard Martin, Roy Martin, and Clare Martin; and a sister: Lorene Ramer.
Friends and family may call from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 10, at the Harrison Christian School (64784 County Road 11, Goshen, IN 46526). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, at the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church (25012 County Road 38, Goshen, IN 46526) with Home Ministries of the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Frame Cemetery, Goshen.
