NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Community Public Library announces the retirement of Debbie Conner after seven years of service.
Joining the library staff in February 2014, Conner was responsible for checking out and shelving books and materials, assisting with programs, creating crafts, organizing supplies, helping patrons and other assigned duties in the Youth Services Department.
Prior to joining the library staff, Conner was a financial institution data conversion specialist in the banking industry. A Syracuse native, she spent most of her professional life in the southeast region of the United States, returning to the Syracuse area upon retiring from the banking industry. She plans to return to the southeast, relocating to Florida.
“Debbie’s creativity and commitment to our young patrons have been a vital part of the library’s youth program. She will be greatly missed by staff and patrons, but we wish her the best in her retirement,” said Youth Librarian Pam Long.
