H. James “Jim” Cundiff, 75, Wabash, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died at 10:29 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born on June 3, 1945, in Anderson to Keith and Geraldine Cundiff.
Jim was a graduate of Logansport High School, and was a policeman in the U.S. Air Force. He was a repair foreman with CSX Railroad in Cincinnati, retiring after 42 years. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry work, telling jokes and playing basketball with his daughter. He has lived at Bickford Cottage in Wabash since January 2021.
He is survived by three children: Tricia Barton, Wabash, Sheila Cundiff, Columbus, Ohio, and Eric (Gina) Cundiff, Peru; seven grandchildren: Austin Cundiff, Logansport, Hailey Barton and Wyatt Barton, both of Wabash, Joseph Cundiff, Peru, Aaron Doran, Denver, Ryan Serna, Kokomo, and Tyler Tanchez, Peru.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Jim’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
