SYRACUSE —While Saturday afternoon was sunny and beautiful in the Lakeland region, the morning hours were a bit brisk for the start of the Wawasee High School Key Club’s Car Show, which began at 8 a.m. That didn’t stop the owners from showing up on time and making sure their cars’ paint jobs were gleaming in the morning sun.
Approximately 50 cars of varying vintages, brands, colors, shapes and sizes were on display in the Wawasee High School parking lot. Throughout the event, the car show’s participants conversed, reunited with old friends and made new acquaintances. People came from throughout the area to view the automotive pieces of yesteryear and ask questions of their owners.
