AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley High School is having a fundraiser for student activities on Saturday, May 1.
The event includes a softball tournament, food and cornhole and other games.
The TVHS softball team is hosting a tournament with other high school teams starting at 9 a.m. There will be cornhole and other games set out for the public to use.
Along with softball concessions, there will be pulled pork for sale. That starts at 10:30 a.m. and will go until it’s sold out.
Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. employee and Blue Smoke BBQ member Dave Koch is to prepare the pork.
Cost for just the pork is $5, and a meal is $10, which includes the meat, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and a cookie.
TVSC Director of Marketing, Public Relations and Grant Writing Lori Tilden-Geiger said funds raised are to be used for student-enrichment activities like bringing in speakers.
