Phillip J. Keim
Phillip J. Keim, 84, died Thursday, April 22, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born Jan. 13, 1937, in Goshen to Harley S. and Reta I. (Phillips) Keim.
On April 1, 1967, he married Janet Troyer in Goshen.
She survives along with a son, Michael (Laramie) Keim; and two grandchildren, Adley and Cortland. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Julia A. Keim and a brother, Jerry Lee Keim.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Keim was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Syracuse. For 30 years he was one of the bulletin boats at Boat in Worship on Lake Wawasee. He co-owned and operated Modern Masonry Supply for 44 years.
Phillip was an avid Indiana University basketball, Notre Dame football and Chicago Cubs fan. A friend to everyone, his garage was an open meeting place for family and friends.
Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
A private graveside service will take place at Violett Cemetery at a later date.
