Thomas L. Perzee
Thomas L. “Tom” Perzee, 72, Pierceton, passed away at 5:59 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2021. He was born Feb. 17, 1949, in Watseka, Ill. to Melvin C. and Marjorie (Korte) Perzee.
He graduated in 1967 from Lowell High School and attended Winnipeg Manitoba College & Moody Bible College in Chicago, Ill. He was married June 28, 1969, in Eureka, Ill. to Janet A. Yordy who preceded him on August 21, 2015. He moved to North Webster and Pierceton area in 1987 from South Bend, was the camp director for Camp Good News near North Webster and the owner and operators of Mel’s Pony Rides & Petting Zoo in Pierceton for many years.
He formerly attended the Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw.
He is survived by two brothers: John (Janet) Perzee of Cedar Lake and Raymond (Mary Ann) Perzee of Herford, Ariz.; sister, Sandra Perzee of Joliet, Ill.; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three infant sons, James, Timothy and Paul Perzee, sister, Marilyn Farmer, and brother, Melvin Perzee.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, April 26, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home with John Perzee officiating. Burial will be in the Lowell Memorial Cemetery in Lowell.
Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
