Free Vaccine Clinic Opens Tuesday In Warsaw
Staff Report
WARSAW – Community leaders continue to drum up interest and dispel disinformation ahead of this week’s state-run Pfizer vaccine clinic in Warsaw.
The five-day event runs from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Center Lake Pavilion. It’s being organized by the state of Indiana and will rely heavily on support from the Indiana National Guard.
Last week, the city announced a new bilingual flier highlighting basic vaccination information was being distributed ahead of the clinic.
Anyone seeking a shot will need to bring a few things to the event: That includes a mask, your date of birth and contact information.
The Pfizer vaccine is the only approved vaccine for ages 16-17, so individuals in that age group are strongly encouraged to register for this event.
Walk-ins will be accepted without an appointment, but appointments are still requested.
Registration is open now and available at www.ourshot.in.gov.
For assistance with vaccine registration or for questions, individuals are encouraged to call the Bowen Center Bilingual COVID-19 Hotline at 574-347-4256.
