Registrations are being accepted for the May Knit 1, Crochet 2 class that will be held in-person at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 4. The group will be creating felted purses together or you can bring your own yarn project to work on. The class is free, but you will need to bring your own knitting supplies. To participate, sign up at the circulation desk or call (574)-834-7122, and you will be contacted with a list of supplies you need to bring to class.
Bring the children to the library for some quality screen time. A child-friendly computer has been installed in the Children’s Department. The cyber-safe, AWE learning station features pre-loaded content that includes interactive games, e-books and fun learning activities for children of all ages. Because the computer is not connected to the internet, children are protected from accessing inappropriate content. For health safety, the computer station will be sanitized after each use.
If you’re a western fiction fan, check out the many new western titles by William W. Johnstone, Leigh Greenwood, Brett Cogburn and others in the Adult Services Department. The library features a large selection of western fiction in both print and audio book form.
