Vicki Kaye Mansfield — UPDATED
Vicki Kaye Mansfield, 71, Goshen, passed away at 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at her home. She was born on Dec. 7, 1949, in Decatur, to George and Virginia Elaine (Crowle) Rice.
She grew up in Dixon, Ohio and attended Crestview High School in Convoy, Ohio. She was married on June 25, 1966, in Dixon, Ohio to Floyd D. Heath who preceded her in Jan. 10, 1993, and then on July 23, 1994, in Syracuse, she married John W. Mansfield who preceded her Oct. 16, 2013. She formerly worked at Johnson Controls in Goshen for 10 years and Goshen Rubber for five years. She lived in Syracuse from 1974 – 1998 and then moved to Goshen in 1998.
She is survived by two daughters: Cathy Heath of Elkhart and Amie (Walter) Dutton of Warsaw; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, grandson, Joston Dutton, great-grandson, Riot Pendleton, and four brothers, Allan Barkley, Lonnie Barkley, Tim Rice, and John Barkley.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, in the Syracuse Cemetery with Pastor Sarah Tuttle officiating. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
