Pfizer Vaccine Clinic In Warsaw Open To Walk-Ins
News Release
WARSAW – Next week’s Pfizer vaccination clinic for COVID-19 has been expanded to include those without appointments.
The Indiana Department of Health will host a vaccination clinic at the Center Lake Pavilion Tuesday through Saturday, April 20-24, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
The Pfizer vaccine is the only approved vaccine for ages 16-17, so individuals in that age group are strongly encouraged to register for this event. Parent or guardian permission will be required at the time of check-in or the teen may bring a signed waiver with them available at ourshot.in.gov.
Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are accepted while vaccine supplies last.
This clinic will provide hundreds of additional doses each day in the community. It also makes available evening and Saturday appointment times.
The vaccine is available at no cost, but insurance information is requested to help cover administration fees. Proof of age will be required at the appointment.
The Pfizer vaccine will be used for this clinic. This vaccine requires a second dose to be fully protected. The second dose will be scheduled at the time of the first dose for the week of May 11–15.
Registration is open now and available at ourshot.in.gov.
For assistance with vaccine registration or for questions, individuals are encouraged to call the Bowen Center Bilingual COVID-19 Hotline at (574) 347-4256.
