Clelia Darlene Mayo
Clelia Darlene Mayo, 88, North Webster, passed away at 7:51 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 11, 1932, in Chesapeake, Ohio to Elmer Otis and Marjorie A. (Snoot) King.
She attended public schools in Ohio, was a homemaker, and formerly worked at Captain D’s Seafood for many years. She was married on Sept. 8, 2019, in Leander, Texas to Roderick E. Mayo who survives. She moved to North Webster in 2019 from Texas.
She attended New Life Christian Church in Warsaw and was a woman of never ending faith. The Lord said, well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25:23.
She is survived by her husband: Roderick Mayo of North Webster; daughter: Valerie (Ed) Williams of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; son, Donald “Chip” (Vicki) Baylous of Walbridge, Ohio; two stepdaughters: Cindi Robison of North Webster and Suzanne (Ken) Adams of Leander, Texas; 14 grandchildren: Brandy Pobjecy of Florida; Chad and Jacob Greene of Walbridge, Ohio; Kara Tackett of Walbridge, Ohio; Tiffany and Brandon Johnson of Madison, Ala.; Micah and Crystal Ellis of Hutto, Texas; April Ellis of Georgetown, Texas; Darlene and Steven Gutierrez of Goldsboro, N.C., John and Dorie Williams of Round Rock, Texas; and Savannah Williams of Round Rock, Texas; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Meyer, Bel Aire, Mass.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
