Mario Luis Aguilar
Mario Luis Aguilar, 36, Warsaw, passed away at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021, in his residence. Mario was born Aug. 23, 1984, in Warsaw, to Roberto Aguilar and Lisa (Hoover) Lyon.
He graduated from Warsaw Community High School and continued his education at Ball State University earning an accounting degree. Mario was employed at Kroger for 20 years. He started as a carry-out and worked his way up to several positions: cashier, non-food stocker, customer service and accounting, and nightshift cashier. He was an avid PC gamer on World of Warcraft (WoW) since 2005.
Mario is survived by his mother, Lisa Lyon; stepdad, Areck Lyon; siblings, Elisabeth Aguilar (Matt), Micah Aguilar (Kylie), Brooklyn Lyon, Aleah Lyon Kayla Lyon, Kyle Lyon, and Jonie Aquilar. In addition, he is survived by grandmothers: Barbara Hoover and Sharon Lyon; aunts: Dawn (Dave) Montgomery, Carol Martin, Sherri (Roger) Hill and Bonnie (Garry) Phillips, along with several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Aguilar, brother, Robbie Aguilar, and grandfathers, Clifford Hoover, and Gary Lyon.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 15, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with a memorial service following immediately at 6:00 p.m. Garry Phillips will be officiating the service.
Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
