INDIANAPOLIS – Swim season has been over for a few weeks, but the work in the classroom still remains. The Indiana High School Swim Coaches Association announced on Tuesday its selections for Academic All-State, which includes a handful of area swimmers.
To be recognized, male and female swimmers must carry at least a 3.75 GPA (on a 4-scale) for a minimum of seven of 11 semesters.
NorthWood’s Alex Bowers was among 122 total swimmers recognized by ISCA, joining eight others from the immediate area.
Also making the cut were Concord’s quartet of Belle Brunner, Caitlin Stauffer, Kendall Crouch and Marissa Prough; East Noble’s Kyler Corbin; Manchester’s Halle Briner; and South Bend Riley’s duo of Brian Riem and Michael Burns.
