Arnold Norman Jr., 77, Claypool, passed away at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at his home. He was born Feb. 6, 1944, in Valparaiso, to Arnold and Ruby (Hoover) Norman Sr.
He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School and lived most of his life in Texas and Kosciusko County. He was married on July 18, 1975 to Irene Sparks who preceded him Jan. 7, 1990. He retired as the owner/operator of Norman’s Auto Sales and formerly worked as a journeyman maintenance mechanic.
He attended the Warsaw Community Church.
He is survived by daughters: Aminta Caudill of Warsaw; and Catrina (Shannon) Aistrop of Princeton, W. Va.; son, Randy (Connie) Norman of Indiana; lifetime companion, Linda Norman of Claypool; step-children: Angie (Brian) Jones of Billings, Mont.; Eric (Blanca) Smoroske of Claypool; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Sahlhoff of Bremen; brothers: Roy Norman of Rochester and Jim Norman of Warsaw
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, great-granddaughter, and brother, John Norman.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 in the Athens Cemetery.
