Teresa L. Sprague, 56, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Born on June 14, 1964, in West Covina, Calif., she was the daughter of Lorence Ward and Christina (Rowton) Spaid. She attended Argos High School, graduating with the class of 1982. Teresa also took college courses at Bethel College.
She worked for Pretzels Inc. in packaging. Teresa loved to craft and read. She cherished her girlfriends who would get together every Saturday morning for breakfast. They would also take yearly trips, go shopping together and of course craft anything and everything.
She loved gardening lilies and daisies and watching dragonflies and the hummingbirds at her feeder. Although she enjoyed all of these things, nothing compared to spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Christina (Earl) Spaid, Elkhart; daughter Rebecca (Travis) Engle, Plymouth; grandsons Christian Jacobs and Gabriel Slabaugh, Plymouth; siblings Deborah (Gene) Oller, Kingman, Kan., Rhonda (DeWayne) Hall, Argos, Wade Ward, Oregon, Robert Marchand, Indiana, Mischelle Johnson, Lakeville, Russell (Emily) Marchand, Elkhart, and Robin Felder, Bristol; and 37 nieces and nephews.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Lorence; and grandparents Allen and Rose Simmons.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 24, from 2-4 p.m. The location will be determined by the family soon.
