Manchester Announces Plans For In-Person Graduation Ceremonies

NORTH MANCHESTER — Manchester University will go ahead with in-person graduation ceremonies, the university announced.
COVID-19 risk mitigation efforts will continue. Everyone will be required to wear a mask, graduates will be limited to a specific number of guests, and social distancing will be implemented on stage and in the audience. Processions and recessions will be limited.
Several small, in-person ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, May 22, in Cordier Auditorium on the North Manchester campus.
Those include:
- The graduate and professional ceremony is at 9 a.m. for Doctor of Pharmacy, Master of Athletic Training, Master of Pharmacogenomics and the dual degree in pharmacy and pharmacogenomics.
- Undergraduate and Master of Accountancy ceremonies are in this order: 11:30 a.m. Honors Program, College of Arts and Humanities, Master of Accountancy and Gilbert College of Business; 2:30 p.m. College of Pharmacy, Natural and Health Sciences; 4:30 p.m. College of Education and Social Sciences
Undergraduate honors students will graduate together, regardless of college.
Manchester is graduating its first students with a dual pharmacy and pharmacogenomics degree.
