Zachery Scott ‘Zach’ Eyer — UPDATED
Zachery Scott “Zach” Eyer, 34, Pierceton, passed away at 6:05 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1987, in Goshen, to Todd Randall and Kimberly Sue Clingerman Eyer.
He attended Whitko High School in South Whitley and lived most of his life in the Pierceton area. He was married to Ruby Hale Staab, who survives. He was employed at Warsaw Foundry and formerly worked at Dalton Foundry in Warsaw, RR Donnelley in Warsaw, Maple Leaf farms in Milford, Carol’s Corner in South Whitley and Epworth Forest Church Camp in North Webster.
He is survived by wife, Ruby Staab; son, Benjimin Eyer, of Bear Lake; mother, Kim (Duane Klinger) Eyer, of Pierceton; brother, Joshua Eyer, of Pierceton; maternal grandmother, Dora Clingerman, of Pierceton; stepsister, Jody (Scott) Mitchell, of Warsaw; stepbrothers, Edward Andrea) Klinger, of Albion; and Dewey (Kane) Klinger, of Warsaw; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Hedgel Perry of the Living Hope Ministries in Warsaw officiating. Burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery.
