WARSAW — The 2021 Home & Outdoor Show in Warsaw takes place in a new location — Warsaw Community High School’s Tiger Recreation and Activity Center (TRAC).
The event began Friday, March 26, and is open until 6 p.m. Saturday, March 27, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 28.
The annual show features products and services from local exhibitors and has been held at a multitude of venues over the years.
Frank Rhoades, co-chair of the show, recalled some of the event’s previous locations.
“The former Uniroyal/Spartech building, the old Walmart building (now Stock & Field), Lakeview Middle School building back when it was the high school, one year we held it in Atwood, Warsaw Racquet Club, the fairgrounds, the JB’s Furniture building before it was JB’s…and now the TRAC.”
Rhoades is excited about holding the event at the 40,000-square-foot facility where approximately 60 spaces will be filled by vendors.
“It’s probably the most pristine environment we’ve ever had,” Rhoades said. “It’s an incredible facility that they’re allowing us to use.”
Visitors to this year’s event can expect to find a variety of vendors, including builders, contractors, service providers such as HVAC and security firms, plumbers, furniture retailers and specialists in flooring, countertops and window replacement.
The size of the TRAC leaves plenty of space for social distancing. The show will have 30-foot aisles and hand sanitizer will be available. Masks will be required for exhibitors and attendees.
Kosciusko REMC is the sponsor for the 2021 Home and Outdoor Show.
General admission is $5 per person. There is no admission fee for children age 12 and under.
Attendees can register to win prizes and giveaways and take advantage of special pricing and other show incentives.
Rhoades, who owns E.F. Rhoades & Sons/Cottage Watchman Security Systems in Pierceton, said trade shows have done a lot for the growth of his business and are good for the economic health of our community.
