Rain, Gusty Winds Expected Tonight

NORTH WEBSTER – Get ready for a rainy and windy night across northern Indiana.
The National Weather Service warns that a strong low-pressure system will bring about widespread rain and thunderstorms tonight with very windy conditions especially south of the US24 corridor.
The forecast for Thursday night, March 25, calls for showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Winds will be 15 to 20 mph and 25 to 30 mph after midnight. Gusts as high as 40 mph.
NWS issued a wind advisory, saying winds could blow around unsecured objects and could lead to a few power outages.
The chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
The low will be around 40.
Friday will be partly sunny with a high of 52.
