Chamber Recaps Community Impact Awards

WARSAW – In recognition of their efforts to keep our community safe and informed during the pandemic, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce has presented three Community Impact awards to deserving individuals.
Kurt Carlson, CEO of Bowen Center was awarded for his leadership in opening the free COVID testing site at Bowen, which later moved to the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.
Dr. William Remington was awarded for his voice, calmness, expertise and knowledge that has been so critical and helpful in informing our community about the pandemic.
Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer was awarded for bringing our community together during this time and hosting weekly chats featuring key leaders who were able to keep our community updated on the pandemic.
Additionally, there will be a plaque displayed at the Chamber office honoring all Kosciusko County healthcare workers and first responders for their dedication and care for our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
