Kosciusko Chamber Offers Fingerprinting Services
News Release
WARSAW — The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce is now providing fast and accurate Live Scan fingerprinting services through IdentoGo by IDEMIA.
The Chamber made the decision to take the necessary steps and complete training to become a certified fingerprinting location to help support local child care workers. The effort was spearheaded by LaunchPad, Kosciusko County’s early learning coalition, as state regulations require early learning providers to be fingerprinted annually.
Due to long wait times and difficulty finding available appointments locally, many providers were required to travel out of the county to complete their annual fingerprinting. This has hindered their ability to onboard the new staff members they need to operate.
With the new location opening at the Chamber, it will provide child care workers with a more convenient and efficient option.
Though supporting early learning providers was the driving force behind the Chamber’s decision, fingerprinting services may be completed for a wide variety of state agencies, programs and industries. Those include adoption, attorneys and legal workers, banking, child care, construction industry licensing, education, firearm permits, financial services, health care, human services, insurance, management services, mortgage industry, pharmaceutical industry, real estate, social services, state employment, transportation and many more.
The Chamber’s hours of operation for fingerprinting services are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. by appointment only. The Kosciusko Chamber is at 523 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw.
