Ruth Ann Weikart — UPDATED
Ruth Ann Weikart, 46, Pierceton, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021, at her home. She was born July 3, 1974 ,in Kendallville, to Maggard and Virgie (Collins) Caudill.
She graduated from West Noble High School and moved to the Pierceton area 24 years ago from Ligonier. She was married on May 24, 1996 in Gatlinburg, Tenn., to Kevin W. Weikart who survives. She formerly worked at Paragon Medical in Pierceton for 18 years and Freudenberg in Ligonier.
She was a member of the Church of God in North Webster.
She is survived by two daughters: Priscilla (Christopher) Phillips of Columbia City; and Courtney Weikart of Warsaw; son, Kevin Weikart of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter: Whitley (Daniel) Lahmeyer of Fort Wayne; stepson: Spencer (Randie) Weikart of Churubusco; two grandchildren: Kaiden and Gracely; six sisters: Marie Scoles, Kathy (Jack) Hamilton, Eunice (Terry) Triplet, Nora Lee (Rod) Hamman, Mary Helen (Tracy) Lynch, and Bertha “Birdie” Caudill; six brothers: Woodie (Ethel) Caudill, Darel (Martha) Caudill, Ralph (Robin) Caudill, Talt (Sherry) Caudill, Kenneth (Rita) Caudill, and Amos (Kathy) Caudill
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepdaughter, Ashley Weikart; and two infant sons.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Church of God, 301 N. Main St., North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the church with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.
