Ruth A. Graber
Ruth A. Graber, 73, North Webster, passed away at 9:25 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born July 17, 1947, in Warsaw, to Melvin W. and Esther E. (Sarber) Holdeman.
She grew up in the Bourbon area, attended Bourbon High School, and lived most of her life in the North Webster area. She was married March 20, 1971 in Plymouth, to Allen Raymond Graber who preceded her on Feb. 16, 2016. She was a homemaker, retired postal carrier at the North Webster Post Office after 25 years, formerly assisted on the family dairy farm, and formerly worked at Homer’s Bar & Grill in North Webster.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in North Webster where she served as a deacon and part of women’s fellowship and was member of the Lakeland Kiwanis Club in North Webster.
She is survived by her daughter: Kristin (Jason) Zorn of North Webster; three sons: Jerry (Amy) Feldman of Winona Lake, Phillip (Vikki) Feldman of Kimmell, and William (Kelley) Graber of Edinburg, Texas; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (John) Wagoner of Leesburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers: Fred, Ralph, Gene and Chuck Holdeman.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 19, in the Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. 600N, North Webster with Pastor Bob Wyman officiating. Cremation will follow at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw.
