Mickey Joy Eubank
Mickey Joy Eubank, 79, North Manchester, passed away March 13, 2021, at Autumn Ridge Centre in Wabash.
One of nine children, Mickey was born in Wabash on April 27, 1941, to the late Gerald J. and Eleanor J. (Price) Eubank.
At an early age, he learned the value of life. When he was four, he lost two brothers, William and Barry, in August 1945 in a drowning accident in North Manchester. The following year, he lost a sister, Karen Sue Eubank, in June 1946.
In 1959, he joined the United States Army before graduating high school. After being Honorably Discharged from the military, he went back to school and later graduated from Manchester High School in 1961. After graduation, he started working a variety of factory jobs including those at Peabody Seating Company and Warner Corp, both in North Manchester. He loved supporting other veterans and members of the military. He was a member of the American Legion Post 286, North Manchester.
On July 27, 1996, he married Pauline (Shuck) Painter. The two were wed for nearly 15 years before she passed away on April 3, 2011. For enjoyment, he collected DVDs, coins, lighters, and various other items. He was a gentle soul to those he met and knew, and he would help anyone out if he had the means to do so.
The loving memory of Mickey Joy Eubank will be forever cherished by his son: Richard Eubank, Logansport; brothers: Thurman (Susannah) Eubank, Dennis Eubank, and Jackie (Doris) Eubank, all of North Manchester; and sisters: Janice Fitzpatrick, Ocala, Fla.; and Laura Ann Enyart, Kokomo.
