In the second game, Grace’s bats were hot early in the game. The Lady Lancers poured in four runs in the top of the first to stun the Lakers.
Jeri Ellis led off the game with a double and then came home on a single from Jessica Kaurich. With two outs and the bases loaded, Laikyn Lowe drew a walk to bring in a second run. Emily Revercomb followed that up with a two-out, two-run single to put the Lady Lancers ahead 4-0.

The game remained deadlocked at 4-4 through the sixth and seventh innings, although both sides had chances to win the game late.
In the top of the seventh, Young reached third base with two outs before being stranded with a fly ball.
In the bottom of the seventh, Roosevelt had a runner on second and third with one out. But Grace sent the game to extra innings with a strikeout and a ground out.
