Paul Fleishmann

Paul Joseph Fleischmann 76, Rochester, passed away at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 1, 1944 in Natrona Heights, Pa., the son of Louis and Wilda (Markwell) Fleischmann. After graduating from high school, Fleischmann served with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. On June 15, 1984, in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, he married Diane Mielke and she survives.

Fleischmann had been a welder and shop foreman for Symons Manufacturing in Chicago, Ill. He had also been a driver for Rochester Homes, Rochester. He enjoyed meeting up with friends to do blacksmith projects at the Fulton County Museum, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Fleischmann, Rochester; stepsons, Robert Cardish, San Antonio, Texas, Peter Cardish, Palm Springs, Calif., stepgrandchildren, Ian Cardish and Shane Cardish, both of San Antonio, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lou Fleischmann and David Fleischmann, sister, Georgia Mydock and step-daughter, Lori Cypher.
